Summary: This project, in partnership with the City of Peoria Traffic Engineering Division, develops an integrated traffic data dashboard by consolidating multi-vendor sensor data into a centralized platform. The City of Peoria operates a network of arterial traffic sensors from multiple vendors, including Miovision, GridSmart, Autoscope Vision, and FLIR, among others. Each vendor platform stores data independently, creating silos with no unified view across the network. The project covers cross-vendor API exploration, unified database development, and the design of interactive traffic performance modules to support data-driven decision making.
